- 18 Tablespoons salted butter 2 sticks plus 2 tablespoons
- 2 ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 5 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup chocolate sauce
- 1/3 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup health bar bits
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a 9x13-inch baking dish (preferably metal) with parchment paper and set aside.
Melt butter in a medium to large saucepan over medium heat till melted.
Add the sugar and vanilla and stir with a whisk till combined.
Then add the cocoa powder and continue whisking till combined.
Remove from heat and add eggs, 1 at a time, stirring till combined after each one.
Add the flour and stir with a spoon till just combined. Don’t over-mix or whisk.
Pour into prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes till a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and immediately poke holes with a chopstick or wooden skewers all over the top and pour half a can of condensed milk over the top. Using a butter knife or flat edge spatula, try to get as much of the condensed milk in the holes and not just sit on top. Set aside to cool.
Once the brownies have cooled, drizzle the caramel and chocolate sauce over the top and sprinkle heath bar bits over it.
Serve right away or refrigerate until ready to serve.
- I don't recommend using a boxed brownie mix but if you do you will want to overbake them slightly.
- You can add ingredients to the brownie batter, see above on some ideas.
- These are great to make or bring for any occasion.
- You can use the regular toffee bits of the chocolate toffee bits for these.
- Make sure that you let your brownies cool completely after you pour over the sweetened condensed milk.
- You can use up the leftover sweetened condensed milk for other things, see above on ideas.
- We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
