Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside,
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage, breaking it up into crumbles until there is no pink left, roughly 8-10 minutes. Drain any excess grease from the pan.
Add in the pizza sauce and parmesan cheese and stir until combined, remove from heat.
Place the bottom half of the rolls, cut side up into the prepared baking dish.
Layer the sliced provolone on top of the rolls.
Next, add the sauce and spread out over the cheese in an even layer.
Layer the pepperoni on top of the sauce.
Lastly, top with the mozzarella and sprinkle with oregano..
Place the top of the rolls on top.
To make the sauce in a small bowl, stir together the butter, basil, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
Using a pastry brush, brush the topping all over the rolls (top and sides), making sure to use it all.
Spray a piece of foil with nonstick cooking spray and place over the baking dish.
Place sliders in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and sprinkle the parmesan on top and continue to bake for an additional 5 minutes.
Remove the sliders from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then cut along the seams of the buns and serve.
