- Ice
- 2 ounces Irish whiskey
- 4 ounces ginger ale
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
- Candied ginger and extra lime to garnish optional
Fill a glass with ice and pour in the whiskey.
Top with the ginger ale.
Pour in the lime juice and mix with a cocktail stirrer.
Garnish with a lime twist and some candied ginger if desired.
- Use your favorite kind of whiskey, we use Jameson.
- Ginger Beer can be substituted for a stronger flavor.
- You can make this with bourbon as well.
- Fresh lime juice is the best, but bottled will work in a pinch.
- You can easily double or triple this recipe to serve more people.
