Olive Dip

Ingredients

  • 10 ounce jar green olives with pimento drained
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • To a food processor, add the olives, cream cheese, mayonnaise, mozzarella, sour cream, garlic, vinegar, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Blend everything until you get your desired smoothness, scraping the sides of the food processor as needed.
  • Add to a bowl or keep in the food processor then cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight to set up.
  • Serve with your favorite dippers.

Notes

  1. Dippers are not included in nutritional value.
  2. I like to serve this as a dip, but also use it as a condiment on sandwiches, bagels in salads and more!
  3. You'll see whole olives in the pictures, but you can certainly use whole or sliced olives for the dip. 
  4. This needs to be refrigerated for at least 4 hours, we do this so the flavors can marry. You can make this up to a day ahead of time.
  5. There are a ton of different dippable things you can serve with this dip. The crusty bread is a favorite, but you can see more options above. 
  6. If you are not a salt fan, I suggest tasting the dip and then adding salt if need be. Some people want a less salty flavor and some people want more. You can also use different olive brands as some can be more potent than others.
  7. This dip is freezer friendly. See how long you can freeze it above.
  8. Don't like raw garlic? Just use a  ½ teaspoon of garlic powder instead.
