Banana Pancakes

Easy, fluffy and with a hint of banana these Banana Pancakes are a quick and delicious morning time meal that takes minimal ingredients and whips up in a flash.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 Tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg room temp
  • 1 large banana mashed
  • Cooking spray or butter

Instructions

  • In medium bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • In another bowl whisk together buttermilk, vanilla, egg and banana until combined.
  • Whisk in your wet ingredients into your dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray or melt butter in pan.
  • Add about 1/4 cup of batter to pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until you see bubbles forming on top and then flip.
  • Cook again for 2-3 minutes and then serve.
