A staple in any Asian cuisine these Potstickers are a fun and fully homemade recipe that is not only flavorful but absolutely addicting.

  • 2 cups flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 Tbs oil


  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1 Tbs oil
  • 1 green onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 Tbs freshly minced ginger
  • 1 Tbs soy sauce
  • 1-2 Tbs oil
  • 1/4 cup water


  • To make your dough add flour, salt and water to a bowl and mix well.
  • Using your hands mix dough and knead it until it sticks together.
  • Add your vegetable oil and continue to knead until it becomes smooth and then shape into a ball, cover with a damp paper towel and let rest for one hour.
  • Meanwhile make your filling, add your chopped cabbage and 1-2 tbs of oil to a pan and sauté until wilted and half it's size.
  • Add to a bowl and let cool, once cool add your green onion, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and pork and mix together then refrigerate.
  • Once dough is done resting sprinkle a tiny bit of flour on your work surface (you may not need this) and roll dough out until about 1/8"-1/4" thick.
  • Using a 3" biscuit cutter cut your dough into rounds.
  • Take about 1/2 tbs filling and add it to center of dough then bring up the sides and press the center together, then add three pleats on each side, repeat with all dough.
  • In pan heat oil and add your potstickers and fry until bottoms are golden.
  • Add water and cover and let steam for about 7-8 minutes to ensure pork cooks.
  • Remove from pan and serve with soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, etc.
