Ingredients

  • 5 large apples
  • 1 package of regular or cinnamon graham crackers (one sleeve about 9)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter one stick
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds optional
  • 1/2 cup craisins optional

Instructions

  • Core and cut apples into slices or small bite sizes.
  • Lightly spray the inside of the crock pot, arrange cut apples on the bottom of the crock pot.
  • Crush/crumble graham crackers with a food processor, or chopper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix ground graham crackers with melted butter, Allspice, pinch of salt, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add in optional ingredients (if using) and stir with spatula until mixed well.
  • Pour graham cracker mixture over top of apples to thoroughly cover them.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 3-4 hours.
