- 5 large apples
- 1 package of regular or cinnamon graham crackers (one sleeve about 9)
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup of melted butter one stick
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds optional
- 1/2 cup craisins optional
Core and cut apples into slices or small bite sizes.
Lightly spray the inside of the crock pot, arrange cut apples on the bottom of the crock pot.
Crush/crumble graham crackers with a food processor, or chopper.
In a medium bowl, mix ground graham crackers with melted butter, Allspice, pinch of salt, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add in optional ingredients (if using) and stir with spatula until mixed well.
Pour graham cracker mixture over top of apples to thoroughly cover them.
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 3-4 hours.
