Garlic Butter Pasta

- 3 Tablespoons finely diced parsley
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta cooked
- ½ cup pasta water
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup shredded or grated parmesan
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1-2 cloves garlic minced
- ⅛ teaspoon coarse kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
Chop your parsley and set aside.
Cook the angel hair pasta according to the package directions.
Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water, set aside.
Strain the pasta in a colander and place the pasta into a sauté pan.
To the sauté pan add the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, butter, minced garlic, salt, and ground black pepper.
Over medium heat toss for 3 minutes or until fully coated.
If the pasta seems dry add pasta water to the pasta and toss.
Remove from the burner and top with the parsley.
Serve immediately.
- Use any of your favorite pastas, we love angel hair.
- Other vegetables and proteins can be used, see above for some ideas.
- We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
- Make sure you reserve that pasta water in case you find your pasta too dry.
- Spices can be added to amp up the flavor.
- Serve with more parmesan over the top when serving if desired.
- Make sure not to overcook the pasta.
