- Ice
- 4 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces lemon juice plus extra for rimming glasses
- 2 ounces simple syrup
- Lemon wedges for garnish optional
- Granulated sugar for rimming glasses
In a cocktail shaker or glass (whatever you have on hand works), add the ice, vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake lightly to mix the ingredients together.
Dip each of the rims of the shot glasses in lemon juice.
Then in the granulated sugar making sure to coat the glasses well and evenly.
Divide the shot mixture between 4-5 shot glasses and top with a lemon wedge, if desired.
- Fresh squeezed lemon juice is the best, but you can use bottled in a pinch.
- You can substitute lemon lime soda for the simple syrup.
- The rimming of the glasses is optional, but we love the sweetness that it gives these shots.
