- 1 box Triple Chocolate Cake or your favorite chocolate cake mix
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup butter melted
- 4 eggs
- 1 12 oz jar hot fudge sauce
Frosting:
- 1 cup butter softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/3 cup milk chocolate chips
- Splash of heavy cream
- 4 Tbs milk
- Chocolate shavings optional
Preheat oven to 350.
Spray a 9"x13" pan with non-stick cooking spray, set aside.
In large bowl mix together cake mix, milk, butter and eggs until combined.
Spread into prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, let cool.
Poke holes over top of cake and then heat fudge sauce in microwave until pourable.
Pour into holes and spread around with spatula until soaked in, set aside.
To make frosting, in a bowl add your chocolate chips and a splash of heavy cream and melt in microwave stirring every 30 seconds until smooth, remove and let cool.
In large bowl beat your butter until smooth, add in your powdered sugar one cup at a time.
Add in your cooled chocolate until mixed.
Add in milk 1 Tbs at a time until desired consistency is reached.
