Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup sugar heaping
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Powdered sugar
  • Chocolate syrup
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  • Preheat waffle maker on high setting.
  • In large bowl whisk together your flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder until combined.
  • Stir in your eggs, oil, buttermilk and vanilla until fully combined.
  • Using about 1/2 cup measurements, pour your batter on waffle iron for about 3 minutes or until puffed and crispy.
