Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup + 2 Tbs butter soft
  • 1 Tbs minced garlic
  • 1 Tbs dried parsley
  • 6-8 slices provolone sliced in half

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Slice bread in 1" sections almost through the bottom, set aside.
  • In a bowl mix together 1/2 butter, garlic and parsley.
  • Spread butter mixture in between bread slices making sure to cover both sides.
  • Stuff sliced cheese in each slices.
  • Brush with remaining butter and sprinkle with some more parsley if desired.
  • Wrap bottom and sides with tinfoil and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and top is crispy.
