- 1 16 oz loaf French bread
- 1/2 cup + 2 Tbs butter soft
- 1 Tbs minced garlic
- 1 Tbs dried parsley
- 6-8 slices provolone sliced in half
Preheat oven to 350.
Slice bread in 1" sections almost through the bottom, set aside.
In a bowl mix together 1/2 butter, garlic and parsley.
Spread butter mixture in between bread slices making sure to cover both sides.
Stuff sliced cheese in each slices.
Brush with remaining butter and sprinkle with some more parsley if desired.
Wrap bottom and sides with tinfoil and place on baking sheet.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and top is crispy.
