  • 4 Tbs butter
  • 3 Tbs flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 cup water
  • 2 1/2 cup pasta elbows, penne, spirals
  • 1 cup mozzarella fresh shredded from block
  • 2 cup cheddar fresh shredded from block
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tsp hot sauce


  • In saucepan melt your butter on medium heat and then stir in your flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  • Add in 1 cup milk and whisk.
  • Add in remaining milk and whisk until it starts to thicken.
  • Add your paprika, mustard powder and garlic powder and water and whisk.
  • Stir in your macaroni and bring to boil and simmer for about 9-10 minutes or until just al dente.
  • Remove from heat and add your cheeses, salt and pepper and hot sauce and stir until melted.
  • Serve immediately.


To reheat add a little bit more milk and warm on stove.
