- 3.4 ounce instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup cold whole milk
- 1 cup cold banana liqueur
- 16 ounces whipped topping
- Chocolate syrup
- Rainbow sprinkles
- Maraschino cherries
Whisk together the pudding mix, cold milk, and banana liqueur in a large mixing bowl for 2 minutes.
Add in 8 ounces of whipped topping and whisk the mixture until smooth. Place the mixing bowl in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
Set out your plastic shot cups and remove the pudding mixture. Add 3 tablespoons of the pudding mixture in to each shot cup. Cover the cups with the tops then place them in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill.
When ready to serve the pudding shots, dollop or pipe the additional whipped topping on to each shot, followed by chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and a maraschino cherry on top. Serve and enjoy!
- These shots are light in texture, if you want thicker shots, you can use less milk in the pudding recipe.
- If you want more banana flavor, add a few drops of high quality banana extract.
- Feel free to add any nuts to bring a chunky monkey feel to these pudding shots, crushed peanuts, walnuts, almonds, and pecans would all be good options.
- Wait until you're ready to serve these shots before adding the toppings.
- You can make these ahead of time, just store them in the fridge for up to a day in advance.

- Feel free to use fresh made whipped cream in stead of the whipped topping. To make your own, take 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and a 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and put them in a mixing bowl and whip them together until stiff peaks form. You can use half as topping, and half in the pudding shot mix.
