Ingredients

  • 3 slices white bread toasted
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • 1 slice beefsteak tomato
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices deli turkey
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 sliced crispy bacon
  • 2 slices deli ham
  • 1 leaf green leaf lettuce

Instructions

  • Place one piece of toasted bread on a plate and add desired amount of mayonnaise to the slice.
  • Add 1 slice of a beefsteak tomato on top of the mayo, sprinkle salt and pepper to taste on top of the tomato.
  • Add 2 slices of deli turkey on top of that, followed by 1 piece of sliced cheddar cheese.
  • Break one piece of bacon in half and put it on top of the cheddar cheese.
  • Place another piece of toasted bread on top of the bacon, and smear more mayonnaise to your taste before adding 2 slices of deli ham.
  • Top with 1 slice of green leaf lettuce before breaking the last piece of bacon in half and putting that on top.
  • Smear mayo no the last slice of toast and place it, mayonnaise side down on top of the sandwich.
  • Cut the Club Sandwich into triangles and secure with toothpicks before serving.

Notes

  1. We don’t use too much of any one ingredient (besides the bread) because then the sandwich would be way too big and difficult to eat. I like to kind of smush down the top of the top piece of bread so it all condenses down, then I cut, this makes it easier to eat.
  2. Choose the bread wisely. Make sure you use a thinner cut bread so the sandwich isn’t too difficult or big to eat.
  3. You can use plain deli turkey and plain deli ham where you can change that out for honey ham, peppered turkey, etc.
  4. I find it easier to eat my sandwich quarters by leaving the toothpick in and eating around the toothpick until I can safely and easily remove it.
  5. You can swap the white bread out for other bread choices, just be sure to toast it so it holds the sandwich together easier.
