Champagne Jello Shots

These Champagne Jello Shots are a delicious party treat, with the added sweetness it really makes the tartness of the champagne pop.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups champagne
  • cup simple syrup
  • .50 ounces (2 packets) unflavored gelatin
  • Gold sanding sugar

Instructions

  • Place ½ cup champagne in the microwave-safe measuring cup and heat for 1 minute or until boiling hot.
  • Add the gelatin and whisk until no lumps remain. If lumps remain, remove them from the mixture.
  • Add the remaining champagne and simple syrup to the mixture and stir.
  • Line up your shot cups on a plate or moveable flat surface.
  • Using the injector or baking syringe, fill the shot cups to be about ¾ of the way full.
  • Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until solidified.
  • Sprinkle the tops of the shots with gold sanding sugar, place the lids on the top, serve, and enjoy!
