Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  • 15 ounces pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup powdered sugar more or less to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice plus more for garnish
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Dippers of choice

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients.
  • Using an electric mixer on medium speed. blend everything together until smooth.
  • Taste the dip and add more powdered sugar or pumpkin pie spice if desired.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
  • Remove to a serving bowl and garnish with more pumpkin pie spice, if desired.

Notes

  1. Make sure your cream cheese is very soft, see my tips on preventing lumps above.
  2. You can easily double this recipe to serve more people.
  3. You can doctor this up by adding some add-ins, see above for ideas.
  4. This needs to be refrigerated.
  5. We do not recommend freezing.
