Wingers Sticky Fingers Mac and Cheese

Creamy cheese sauce is mixed with a spicy sweet Wingers sauce and poured over pasta and popcorn chicken and baked.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg pasta your favorite kind, cooked according to pkg directions
  • 1/2 pkg popcorn chicken cooked according to pkg directions
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese

CHEESE SAUCE

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 Tbs Flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

WINGERS SAUCE

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbs hot sauce Franks works nicely
  • 1 Tbs water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In medium pot on stove melt your butter, once whisk in your flour and heat until bubbly.
  • Next slowly add in your cream and reduce heat until thickened.
  • Once thickened stir in your cheese until melted, reduce heat to low.
  • In another pan, add all your Wingers sauce ingredients and stir to blend, bring to a boil and heat until sugar is dissolved.
  • Stir your Wingers sauce into your cheese sauce.
  • In 2qt casserole dish add your cooked pasta and your popcorn chicken.
  • Pour sauce over the top and toss to coat.
  • Sprinkle with your 1 cup of cheese.
  • Cover and cook for about 25 minutes or until bubbly.
