Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice
  • 2 Tbs white distilled vinegar
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 6-8oz skinless salmon fillets
  • Cooked rice optional

Instructions

  • In medium sized saucepan add your honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, lemon juice, vinegar, olive oil, pepper, cayenne, paprika and garlic powder and whisk together until combined.
  • Heat over medium-high heat until boiling then reduce heat to medium-low to simmer for about 15 minutes until thickened.
  • To grill your salmon heat your grill to medium, you can also use a grill pan on the stove.
  • Rub both sides of your fillets with olive oil and then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Grill the salmon about 5-6 minutes per side minutes per side or until done.
  • Remove to plate and brush salmon with sauce.
  • Serve over cooked rice and a side of the sauce for dipping.
