- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1-2 tsp spicy brown mustard
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup beer
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2/3 cup bacon bits or crumbled bacon pieces
In saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour.
Add, salt, mustard, pepper and Worcestershire sauce, stir to combine.
Slowly add your milk, and beer.
Bring to boil and cook for about 2 minutes until thickened.
Reduce heat to low and add in cheese and stir until smooth and cheese is melted.
Fold in bacon bits.
Serve with chips, pretzels or slices of bread.
