Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-2 tsp spicy brown mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2/3 cup bacon bits or crumbled bacon pieces

Instructions

  • In saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour.
  • Add, salt, mustard, pepper and Worcestershire sauce, stir to combine.
  • Slowly add your milk, and beer.
  • Bring to boil and cook for about 2 minutes until thickened.
  • Reduce heat to low and add in cheese and stir until smooth and cheese is melted.
  • Fold in bacon bits.
  • Serve with chips, pretzels or slices of bread.
