Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 2 ounces cherry vodka
  • 1 ounce grenadine
  • ½ ounce lime juice fresh squeezed
  • 4 ounces lemon-lime soda
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish
  • Limes for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by adding ice to a cocktail glass. Pour in the vodka, grenadine, and lime juice.
  • Top with lemon-lime soda and add cherries and limes for garnish, serve and enjoy.

Notes

  1. You can use ginger ale in place of the lemon-lime soda if desired.
  2. For more of an alcohol kick, use triple sec instead of the fresh-squeezed lime juice.
  3. I think the layering effect you can make with this drink is very beautiful, but, you can also stir everything together.
  4. If scaling to make a pitcher drink, wait to add ice and just pour the pitcher over ice in cocktail glasses.
  5. This drink is best enjoyed right when you make it, so drink up!
