Oatmeal Raisin Edible Cookie Dough

- 1 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 Tbs milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour heat treated see notes
- 1 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/2-1 cup raisins
In large bowl beat together your butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy.
Add in your extract and milk and beat until incorporated.
Add in your flour and oats and and beat until combined.
Fold in your raisins and serve.
- Make sure you use heat treated flour in this recipe, you can see how to heat treat above.
- If you want larger chunks of oatmeal used rolled oats instead of quick cooing.
- If you want a richer flavor add more brown sugar than white sugar.
- This recipe can be frozen, the instructions are notated above on how to do that.
- You can easily cut this recipe in half, it makes a nice big helping, but if you are serving less people just halve this recipe.
- If you aren't a raisin fan, swap with chocolate chips instead.
- Add a half a tsp of cinnamon to kick it up a notch, we sometimes do this!
