Easy Peach Cake

Ingredients

Cake:

  • 1 box white cake mix ingredients on box
  • 2 cups or 2 large peaches peeled and diced
  • 1 Tbs flour

Frosting:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon extra for sprinkling

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, spray a 9”x13” cake pan with non-stick cooking spray, set aside.
  • Add your diced peaches to bowl with flour and stir to coat peaches, set aside.
  • In bowl mix your cake mix according to package directions.
  • Fold in your peaches until combined.
  • Pour into prepared pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes until center of cake is set and toothpick comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely.
  • Meanwhile in large bowl add all your frosting ingredients and beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread over cooled cake, slice and serve.

Notes

  1. Depending on how much cinnamon you want in your frosting you can add more, we use around 1 tsp, but if you want more cinnamon flavor you can double it.
  2. You can absolutely make your own homemade cake mix and use it that way, we just used a white cake mix out of ease.
  3. You do not need to make homemade Whipped Cream Frosting, you can just stir some cinnamon into cool whip and top it with that.
  4. Stated above you do not have to use this frosting recipe you can use any other frosting you like, we like this as it's light and airy and lets the peach flavor shine through.
  5. You can use yellow or vanilla cake mix as well.
  6. Make sure your cake is fully cooled before frosting so it does not melt.
