- 16 oz sugar cookie dough
- 2 cans chocolate frosting
- Chocolate sprinkles optional
Preheat oven to 350.
Cut your 16 oz cookie dough into 12 equal portions and roll them into balls.
Place balls in a 12 count muffin tin and bake for 15-17 minutes until lightly golden and center seems done.
Remove from oven and using a small item like a teaspoon, press the middle down to indent the center.
Let cool slightly in pan before removing to completely cool on wire rack, fill center with frosting and top with sprinkles.
- Use a standard 12 well muffin tin.
- We like to use non-stick cooking spray with flour in it, it helps get these out easier.
- You do not need to mold the balls into the wells, they will take on the shape of the tins themselves
- These will come out of the oven a little indented in the middle, we still like to press them down more.
- Make sure that the center is fully cooked, if you pull them out and the center looks a little wet after pressing them in, stick back in oven for a few minutes.
- Let them only cool slightly in the muffin tins, it is easier to get them out when they are slightly warm.
- Depending on how much frosting you put in them will determine how many cans of frosting you use, we use 2 cans of frosting for 12 of these.
