Ingredients

  • 16 oz sugar cookie dough
  • 2 cans chocolate frosting
  • Chocolate sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cut your 16 oz cookie dough into 12 equal portions and roll them into balls.
  • Place balls in a 12 count muffin tin and bake for 15-17 minutes until lightly golden and center seems done.
  • Remove from oven and using a small item like a teaspoon, press the middle down to indent the center.
  • Let cool slightly in pan before removing to completely cool on wire rack, fill center with frosting and top with sprinkles.

Notes

  1. Use a standard 12 well muffin tin.
  2. We like to use non-stick cooking spray with flour in it, it helps get these out easier.
  3. You do not need to mold the balls into the wells, they will take on the shape of the tins themselves
  4. These will come out of the oven a little indented in the middle, we still like to press them down more.
  5. Make sure that the center is fully cooked, if you pull them out and the center looks a little wet after pressing them in, stick back in oven for a few minutes.
  6. Let them only cool slightly in the muffin tins, it is easier to get them out when they are slightly warm.
  7. Depending on how much frosting you put in them will determine how many cans of frosting you use, we use 2 cans of frosting for 12 of these.
