Homemade Applesauce
With only 5 ingredients and under 30 minutes this Homemade Applesauce is sweet, easy, tasty and everyone loves it. The perfect way to use up those fall apples.

- 3 lb apples, peeld, cored and diced
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Tbs lemon juice
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
In a large pot add your apples, water, lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon and stir.
Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer on medium-low until apples are tender.
Using a potato masher, immersion blender or a regular blender, blend until your desired thickness.
Store in mason jars in refrigerator.
- Instead of using regular sugar, you can use brown sugar to give it a different flavor.
- Add a cinnamon stick while this boils and simmers to add some extra cinnamon flavor.
- You can mix up your fruits, add some strawberries to the mix to have a strawberry applesauce recipe.
- You can use a potato masher (chunkier), immersion blender or a regular blender to mash up the applesauce itself.
