Easy Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz bag tri-color coleslaw mix
  • 2/3 cup mayo
  • 4-5 Tbs sugar
  • 1 Tbs lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 Tbs cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Add your coleslaw mix to a medium bowl and set aside.
  • In smaller bowl add in your mayo, sugar, lemon juice, cider vinegar, celery seed, salt & pepper and whisk until smooth.
  • Pour over coleslaw mix and stir until coated.

Notes

  1. Use pre-bagged coleslaw mixture, it saves time and effort rather than shredding your own.
  2. You do not need to chill this recipe, but if you would like to you are more than welcome to, we don't like to chill ours because coleslaw seems to get soupy when it sit's too long.
  3. Add as little or as much sugar or vinegar as you like to your preference, the ratios we give in the recipe is to our liking, but can easily be adjusted.
  4. Serve on top of pulled pork or alongside and grilling recipe.
