Can you guy’s believe it’s almost the Super Bowl? I’m a Minnesota girl so I’ve got my heart set on the Vikings moving on, hopefully we will be able to take down the Seahawks this weekend! Got my fingers crossed on this one. But the best part about this time of year is all the delicious game day foods. Nothing beats appetizers and football food in my book…well maybe sweets. Hey everyone. Friday is already upon us. To me right now it actually doesn’t make much of a difference. My daughter has been sick since Wednesday so all the day’s have been sort of mashing into one another! Had to bring her into the ER last night around midnight because she was in so much pain but apparently it’s only cold so we have to wait it out. My poor princess. Anyways, I hope your week is going better than mine so far! Read more

My post is so late this morning. My 6-year-old asked me so sweetly to make him some pancakes and obviously I couldn’t say no. It then turned into a competition on how big mom could make a pancake and actually keep it together. Might I say that I did a pretty good job. Maybe I made an overwhelming amount of pancakes but at least they save pretty well. Read more

Happy Friday! I’m so happy it is finally Friday. This week has been what seems like a ridiculously long week. This weekend is our towns annual Town and Country Day’s. Happy hump day friends! I hope your week is going nicely. I have a nice cranky almost 2-year-old today who didn’t sleep so my day is lovely. Oh the joys of motherhood I tell ya, one day at a time! This is my favorite age, but yet also my least favorite age. They are learning so much and showing us that but at the same time they are gaining their independence and with that comes tantrums. My daughters new word is “no.” She absolutely loves saying it, although it is absolutely adorable, she uses it to reply to anything my husband or I ask her. It gets quite frustrating at times because we don’t really know if she means it, or if she just chooses to say it. Read more

I don’t know about you guys, but I love to cook for other people. Christmas is my favorites. I’m like a kid in a candy shop, picking out recipes and tasting all the treats that I get to give as gifts. I’m on of those people who will sit around and watch a person eat what they make. I love seeing the reaction on peoples faces to see if they like what I have to offer. I’m also kinda the same way with gifts. I love love love giving gifts. Read more
