Do you ever have those day’s where you just lack inspiration on what to write? Yeah, today is one of those days for me. I am just soooooo beyond happy that it is Friday. My new phone comes in the mail today, I got myself a new DSLR camera I need to learn to use, but just no time to do any of it! So I feel like today calls for some comfort food. Whats more comforting than Mac and Cheese? BBQ Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese! Read more
When I think of family traditions pasta and Ragu come to mind right away. My husband and myself absolutely adore pasta and it is a tradition for us to have it at least once a week for good measure. We usually like to switch it up and try some new things and that is something that we have chosen as a resolution this year, branching out and trying new flavors. This past week I mixed something new and old together. I decided to merge Italian Baked Eggs and Baked Penne to come up with this amazing Italian Baked Egg Penne.
Can you guy’s believe it’s almost the Super Bowl? I’m a Minnesota girl so I’ve got my heart set on the Vikings moving on, hopefully we will be able to take down the Seahawks this weekend! Got my fingers crossed on this one. But the best part about this time of year is all the delicious game day foods. Nothing beats appetizers and football food in my book…well maybe sweets. Hey everyone, another Monday is upon us. This is the last week my kids have off before school starts. I think there are mixed emotions in this household. I know that they miss their friends, but I know that they are going to miss being able to do whatever they want as well. Hopefully it will be an easy adjustment them getting up daily at a certain time again. Usually they are pretty good at it, but my 8-year-old has had some problems in the past of wanting to get up and stay up. Read more
Hey everyone. Friday is already upon us. To me right now it actually doesn’t make much of a difference. My daughter has been sick since Wednesday so all the day’s have been sort of mashing into one another! Had to bring her into the ER last night around midnight because she was in so much pain but apparently it’s only cold so we have to wait it out. My poor princess. Anyways, I hope your week is going better than mine so far! Read more

My post is so late this morning. My 6-year-old asked me so sweetly to make him some pancakes and obviously I couldn’t say no. It then turned into a competition on how big mom could make a pancake and actually keep it together. Might I say that I did a pretty good job. Maybe I made an overwhelming amount of pancakes but at least they save pretty well. Read more
Have you ever just had one of those burgers that your absolutely love? This was something my husband kept begging me to make. He has been seeing them everywhere and has been drooling over them for the past week until I finally made them for him. I’m glad that I caved. These guys were awesome. Read more
