My post is so late this morning. My 6-year-old asked me so sweetly to make him some pancakes and obviously I couldn’t say no. It then turned into a competition on how big mom could make a pancake and actually keep it together. Might I say that I did a pretty good job. Maybe I made an overwhelming amount of pancakes but at least they save pretty well.  Read more

So I’m officially halfway through with my vacation and I have accomplished zero. I feel so bad. I haven’t even accomplished sitting on the couch and relaxing watching a movie. What is wrong with me? I keep telling my husband daily that I want to do nothing for a day and just watch movies. I guess when having kids and it being summer time that isn’t a feasible option unfortunately. Unless they want to be lazy with you, and that rarely happens in my household.  Read more

Good morning and happy Monday. Today is my 28th Birthday. When did I start getting so old? Ha no I know it’s not old, and I honestly don’t feel 28 at all, but lo and behold I am now that age. I don’t know what my lovely kids and husband have planned for me today, they are all still sleeping, besides my hyper little 2-year-old. She is sitting here playing with our cat who she constantly pushes to the limits and I’m waiting for the day that she learns her limits. I know it’s coming soon. Read more

Finally its FRIDAY! Whoop let’s all put  on our party hats to ring in the weekend. I have the next 9 days off and I don’t even know what to do with myself. Maybe do a little this and that, or just a whole lot of nothing. Yeah, I’m a homebody. I would like to go and do some stuff though. Monday is my Birthday and I usually don’t do anything to celebrate but I may just treat myself for once. Who knows, the possibilities are endless and I just have to get my creative juices flowing.  Read more

So I just spent the morning painting nails with 3 lovely girls ages 8 and younger. It was quite the experience. I’m so used to boys, having 3 myself. These girls sure are giving me practice on what it will be like when my almost 2-year-old daughter will get older. Of course she needed to join in and got her lovely little toes and hands painted right along with everyone else. Now we will see how long it lasts.  Read more

Monday Monday Monday, MONDAY! A start to another work week. Today I have off from work, so I am going to try my hardest to go to the meat shoppe that I’ve been craving for the longest time now. Next week is my birthday week and I just so happen to have the whole week of, no plans so if anyone knows of something I can do, especially with kids that would be great.  Read more

Do you guys remember high school well? I’ve been reminiscing for the past few days about my high school years. That may be because I have my 10 year high school reunion this weekend. Oh my. Time has gone by so fast. In those last 10 year I’ve managed to get married, have 4 children and buy our first home. Might not sound like much but it feels like a lot.  Read more

Happy hump day friends! I hope your week is going nicely. I have a nice cranky almost 2-year-old today who didn’t sleep so my day is lovely. Oh the joys of motherhood I tell ya, one day at a time! This is my favorite age, but yet also my least favorite age. They are learning so much and showing us that but at the same time they are gaining their independence and with that comes tantrums. My daughters new word is “no.” She absolutely loves saying it, although it is absolutely adorable, she uses it to reply to anything my husband or I ask her. It gets quite frustrating at times because we don’t really know if she means it, or if she just chooses to say it.  Read more
